Linking two lakh youth of Haryana to employment
Saksham Haryana is an ambitious program of the Chief Minister, Education Minister and Skills Minister of Haryana to strengthen the skill and employment ecosystem in the state. The overall focus is to link two lakh youth to employment in Haryana. The key objectives of the program are:
Revamping public sector recruitment through Haryana Public Service Commission and Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
Creating a functional employment exchange portal to link registered candidates with existing employment opportunities.
Revamping monthly Mega Job Fairs held across the state to assimilate the unemployed youth into the working populace.
Facilitating employment as security guards across the state and nearby geographical areas with support from G4S & Terrier.
Appointing 10,000+ apprentices across various establishments by strengthening review & monitoring within three months of initiation.
Encouraging private participation in appointing apprentices by recognizing the best establishments as 'Saksham Sathi'.
